Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. She is Italian (from a paternal grandfather), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California being the eldest of four siblings. At age 10 her interest in the acting world when she performed during a Christmas production at school. She also continued doing school plays as well as community stage productions. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Following her graduation Linda was forced to decide between moving into New York or Los Angeles to study theatre. LA was her choice. Linda was first cast as a character in Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks was the part that brought her a breakthrough. Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). Lily James has a profession as an English actor. She began her career as a British actor in Just William (2010), a British television series that aired that aired on British television. After her successful performance in the role of Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey from 2012-2015, her first breakthrough role was on the film of the same name, Cinderella in 2015. James was later cast as Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016). James also appeared as Baby Driver (2017) and in the period television dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (18) and The Dig (2021), as well as musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). She was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 for her portrayal of Pamela Anderson, the star of Pam & Tommy.
